Full description
The locals believe that gods live on top of Agung and call the mountain sacred. There are many legends about this volcano, and for travellers from all over the world, it is a point of attraction.

A shuttle will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the temple at the foot of Agung Volcano, from where you will start your journey. Most of the climb is on an earthen path surrounded by trees. 1/3 of the road is on rock with an incline of about 45 degrees.

The climb takes about 5 hours one way, you will be able to take a few breaks before conquering the summit. When it starts to get light, you will climb to the very top of the volcano to greet the dawn, look into the crater of the volcano and feel the power of the sacred place
