Full description
This is a fascinating journey to Java — the most populous island in the world. Here is the capital of Indonesia, there you will find the maximum concentration of historical, cultural and spiritual life of the country. It is a place with incredible beauty of volcanic landscapes and stunning beaches. Java has something to surprise you!

The main goal of our stay on the island will be to visit the crater of the ancient Ijen volcano. We will have an overnight ascent to the volcano to an altitude of 2800 meters above sea level and descent into its crater.

The sight we are destined to see is one of the most attractive in the world. An active volcano permanently ejecting clouds of sulphur smoke into the sky and the world's only sulphur lake, Kawa Ijen, located directly in the crater. The lake has a diameter of 1 kilometer, a depth of 200 meters and...has bright turquoise color!

Sulphur extraction and production of souvenirs is carried out directly at the shores of the lake. Men working there carry 80-kilogram baskets of sulfur down the crater slope. Here we will see the natural phenomenon of "blue lights" arising from the interaction of oxygen with sulfur, the most vividly phenomenon revealed at night.

We will descend straight into the crater to see this whole sight with our own eyes, will enjoy the dawn at the top of Ijen volcano and take incredible photos.

It's a real natural miracle!
