Full Description
Java is the closest neighbour to the island of Bali. It is a real authentic Indonesia, with stunning natural landscapes, active volcanoes, secluded beaches of white or black volcanic sand, impenetrable jungle and ancient culture.

With a trip to Java, you'll get a taste of a different Indonesia and decide for yourself which one you prefer.

The first point of our journey will be the Bromo Valley, where we will have a rest and overnight stay. The next morning we will get up in the dark and head to a viewpoint overlooking the Bromo and Semeru volcanoes. There we will see the sunrise, which is unforgettable in these parts.
The main adventure of the day is the ascent to the crater of the active volcano Bromo, 2392 metres high. The climb starts from the foot of the volcano, where the surrounding scenery is quite alien: everywhere you look there are lava fields and dunes covered with ash.

Only the presence of the only Hindu temple in the area, the Poten Temple, reminds us that we are still on Earth. From the temple to the summit, we follow a trail covered in a layer of volcanic ash. Once at the summit, we will explore the 600 metre crater and walk along its edge. The sight is truly mesmerising!

After Bromo we will go for a 4x4 jeep ride through the Bromo-Tenger-Semeru National Park and see the local ‘sea of sand’. The national park is a desert plain covered with gravel, surrounded by volcanic peaks and a ‘sea’ of sand dunes formed by a caldera (a depression created when the fire mountains collapsed).

We will visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls of the island - Madikapura. A leisurely walk among the Javanese jungle to the waterfall will take about 40 minutes and you will be able to breathe in the freshest air filled with micro particles of water.

The climax of our stay in Java will be a visit to the crater of the ancient volcano Ijen. The sight to be seen is one of the most fascinating in the world. An active volcano, permanently throwing into the sky clouds of sulphurous smoke and the world's only sulphurous lake Kawah Ijen, located right in the crater. The lake is one kilometre in diameter and 200 metres deep and... it's bright blue.
